the simple sorrowed gaze, and my feet are tired every
now
and again.
five o clock rolls around, the curb grows cold
she's late again.
standing up, reaching down, grab your bag,
another walk alone is just another day,
you smile small and understand.
your hazel eyes collide with mine,
the stars explode and fall around
our feet.
for a moment
you are mine, this universe
is doing fine; i'll be alright.
red to green and green to red,
the sun returns to guide us to our seperate
beds as
i go left and you go right,
and time goes on
and so does life.
