science / and when you sweetly speak to me

                     I mouth your name
              as you lift your head
       the dew expiring
on your breath

I laid you down in our sweaty skin
my hands shaking, your breath trembling
from up above your shoulders broad
the ins and outs of an unfamiliar nod

    I died softly for this
your sweet exhale when you are spent
amidst sunlight in this musky room
I breath in your sweet perfume

I laid you down in your summer bed
the tender scarlet of a blushing red
  from underneath our tumbling hair
the rise and fall of lover's love

    I was wrong.

Everytime someone died. color and breath, the fast unfurl of carbon away from death plants that rise and grow, strange citybomb beneath…

Bloomed in the fall, I loved you in the winter. When summer came the world was dead and cold.
